Thursday, March 24

Fire: A resident reported the smell of gas in his home on Sais Avenue at 9:36 a.m.

Department of Public Works: San Anselmo Avenue, Lincoln Park, and Salinas Avenue were experiencing small floods in the roadway, including some flooding in homes on Salinas Avenue and Pasadena Avenue.

Tree Down: A large tree fell on Florence Avenue and pulled down wires, blocking the roadway, at 12:43 p.m.

Solicitor: An AT&T employee was soliciting information from customers on Valley Road at 5:44 p.m.

Unwanted Subject: A subject was at a residence on Magnolia Avenue, who was not on the lease and was refusing to leave, at 7:42 p.m.

Shoplifting: Four juveniles left a store on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard with a large amount of alcohol they had not paid for.

Disturbing the Peace: There was a verbal altercation on Sycamore Avenue at 9:19 p.m.

Juveniles: Juveniles were attempting to throw large metal containers into the creek on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 9:32 p.m.

Wednesday, March 23

Hazard: Water was reported bubbling up from a man hole on Broadmoor Avenue and Morningside Drive at 7:27 a.m. The sanitary district will be working to repair the issue.

Fire: A resident on Carlson Court reported that he could smell an odor, but wasn’t sure if it was a fire or from the fireplace.

Warrant Arrest: At a traffic stop on Laurel Avenue at 1:41 p.m., a subject was determined to have an outstanding warrant and was arrested and booked into county jail.

Animal: A dog had bitten a subject on Rutherford Avenue at 1:51 p.m.

Unwanted Subject: A subject at a business on San Anselmo Avenue at 4:57 p.m. was refusing to leave.

Suspicious Person: A resident on Prospect Avenue reported that a subject was at her door, attempting to serve her with papers. Officers determined he was a process server.

Suspicious Person: A resident reported a suspicious person on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 11:33 p.m. An officer abated him.

Tuesday, March 22

Fire: There was a report of a possible fire on Ray Court at 8:48 a.m. It was found it was smoke from a chimney.

Fire: A resident could smell natural gas in the area of Tamalpais Road at 9:11 a.m.

Suspicious Circumstances: There was a report of someone posing as a health inspector and wanted to come to a business on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard, but they never turned up.

Accident – No Injury: A car that hit the center island on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 10:17 a.m. and was about three inches in the air.

Reckless Driving: A driver was traveling northbound on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard and made a U-turn against the red and went southbound at 11:46 a.m.

Solicitor: Three subjects were going door-to-door claiming to be from AT&T on Elm Avenue, but they only had a photo badge and no vehicle was seen. Officers contacted one of the subjects, who did work for AT&T, and advised them to contact only AT&T customers.

Petty Theft: A bike was taken between 3:30 and 5 p.m. on San Anselmo Avenue, outside a business.

Accident – Minor Injury: A two-car collision was blocking the roadway at Sir Francis Drake Boulevard and Butterfield Road at 6:45 p.m.

Monday, March 21 

Terrorist Threats: A resident on Fernwood Drive was threatened during an intervention.

Suspicious Person: A strange male subject was walking in the area of Woodland Avenue and Crescent Road at 9:42 a.m.

Suspicious Circumstances: A subject was on his mail route and saw that a resident hadn’t been picking up her mail. Then, he saw that a window near the front door on Brookmead Court was pried open and a side door was open. Officers checked the residence and it didn’t appear anyone had been there for approximately 60 to 90 days.

Accident – No Injury: A resident hit a parked car, but couldn’t find the owner on Tunstead Avenue at 3:59 p.m.

Family Disturbance: A resident’s adult son refused to leave and broke his mother’s cell phone. Officers spoke to both parties and the son was given a trespassing advisement.

Suspicious Person: A man was walking down the street, swearing and screaming, at Scenic and Humboldt Avenues at 7:13 p.m. Officers determined he was having an argument on the phone.

Noise: There was a loud guitar coming from an apartment at the back of a house at Crescent Road and Woodland Avenue at 10:39 p.m.
