San Anselmo Police: Leaf-blowers, House Broken Into, Woman Screams

Thursday, Nov. 17

Petty Theft: A resident reported that her son’s bike was missing on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard and she wanted to report it stolen.

Driving on a Suspended License: At a traffic stop on Center Boulevard at 3:28 p.m., an officer determined that a woman was driving on a suspended license. She was cited and released and the car was left legally parked.

Solicitor: There was an aggressive solicitor on Center Boulevard at 3:34 p.m.

Reckless Driving: A resident reported a bus driver almost hit him while he was walking in the crosswalk at Sir Francis Drake Boulevard and Bridge Avenue at 6:52 p.m.

Animal: There was an injured animal in the road at Sir Francis Drake Boulevard and San Anselmo Avenue at 9:01 p.m.

Wednesday, Nov. 16

Hit and Run: There was a hit and run collision at Saunders Avenue and Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 10:53 a.m. with no injuries.

Missing Person: A resident reported her juvenile daughter was missing.

Petty Theft: A resident reported the theft of a business check.

Burglary: A residence on Butterfield Road was broken into and items were stolen at 2:52 p.m. Officers were unable to locate anyone or anything suspicious.

Burglary: A resident reported that subjects attempted to gain entry to her residence on Butterfield Road at 4:06 p.m.

Accident – Minor Injury: A resident reported that she was in a car accident on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 5:15 p.m.

Suspicious Circumstances: A female screamed in the area of Sierra Avenue at 7:04 p.m.

Animal: There was an injured deer on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 10:10 p.m.

Tuesday, Nov. 15

Vandalism: A car on Saunders Avenue was keyed overnight.

Public Intoxication: An officer contacted a man who was on the ground on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 10:34 p.m. He was determined to be intoxicated and was arrested and booked into the county jail.

Monday, Nov. 14

Hit and Run: There was a hit and run on Center Boulevard.

Municipal Code Violation: There was a leaf blower violation on Magnolia Avenue at 11:09 am.

Solicitor: A solicitor was reportedly urinating on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 11:54 a.m., but denied doing so.

Barking Dog: There was a dog barking on San Anselmo Avenue at 12:07 p.m.

Municipal Code Violation: There was a leafblower violation on Magnolia Avenue at 12:38 p.m. It was determined they were within the allowable hours.

Solicitor: There was a suspicious subject, possibly a solicitor, looking down driveways on Rutherford Avenue at 4:10 p.m. Officers determined he was soliciting for the phone company.
