San Anselmo Police: Loud 5:30 a.m. Exercise Group, Juveniles with Red Cups

Thursday, Sept. 8

Noise: A group was exercising loudly on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 6:23 a.m.

Disturbing the Peace: A suspicious person was harassing patrons on San Anselmo Avenue at 11:19 a.m. Officers contacted the subject and found no merit to any harassment.

Solicitor: A resident wanted assistance with a solicitor who refused to show their permit. Officers contacted the subject, who had a permit.

Animal: A dog was left in a car on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 3:38 p.m.

Wednesday, Sept. 7

Traffic: Signals were malfunctioning on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 10:46 a.m.

Vehicle Hazard: A disabled car was blocking traffic at San Anselmo and Mariposa Avenues at 3:03 p.m.

Department of Public Works: A storm drain cover was off on Sequoia Drive at 7:54 p.m. and the grate had fallen into the drain.

Barking Dog: There was a dog barking on Broadmoor Avenue at 8:04 p.m.

Barking Dog: There was a dog barking on Tamalpais Avenue at 8:45 p.m.

Noise: A guitar was playing loudly at Bolinas Avenue and Richmond Road at 11:10 p.m.

Tuesday, Sept. 6

Noise: A workout class starts at 5:30 a.m. every Tuesday outside on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard and the participants are very loud.

Driving without a License: At a traffic stop at Sir Francis Drake Boulevard and Bolinas Avenue at 7:39 a.m., a driver was found to be driving without a license and was cited and released.

Battery: There was a physical altercation between two subjects on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 8:47 a.m.

Suspicious Circumstances: A resident reported that someone attempted to pry open her front door on San Anselmo Avenue at 5:01 p.m.

Juvenile: Five juveniles were drinking alcohol in the park on Crescent Road at 6:51 p.m. with red cups.

Animal: A dog tied to a pole on San Anselmo Avenue was aggressive when a resident walked by with her dog. She contacted the owner and he blamed her for walking by.
