San Anselmo Police: Party Crashers, Bike Missing Six Weeks Later, Battery

Sunday, Aug. 7

Suspicious Circumstances: There was a child crying on San Anselmo Avenue at 6:15 a.m. Officers determined the residents had the fan on and didn’t hear the child.

Suspicious Circumstances: A woman reported her personal belongings and car might have been stolen on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard. Officers located the items and the car was being used by her boyfriend.

Animal: Four dogs were off leash on Crescent Road at 11:02 a.m.

Reckless Driving: A driver ran a stop sign at Tamalpais and San Anselmo Avenues at 11:33 a.m.

Animal: Officers were with a dog locked in a car for over 45 minutes on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 5:01 p.m.

Saturday, Aug. 6

Suspicious Circumstances: There was a suspicious car on Indian Rock Road at 12:58 a.m. Officers determined the driver was lost.

Disturbing the Peace: A resident claimed a subject made verbal threats to him regarding different political views at San Anselmo Avenue and Pine Street at 12:55 p.m.

Disturbing the Peace: There was a verbal altercation in the area regarding political signs on San Anselmo Avenue at 3:06 p.m.

Animal: A resident reported that her dogs escaped her property at Lansdale and San Anselmo Avenues. They returned later in the day.

Juveniles: A group of juveniles were attempting to crash a family birthday party on Bennit Avenue at 9:34 p.m.

Suspicious Circumstances: There was a woman screaming in the area of Station 19 on San Anselmo Avenue at 11:16 p.m.

Noise: There was a group singing at San Anselmo and Ross Avenues at 11:39 p.m.

Friday, Aug. 5

Disturbing the Peace: Following a 9-1-1 hang up, officers responded and determined there had been an altercation between a brother and sister on Oak Knoll Avenue at 12:42 a.m. The male half was abated from the area.

Driving on a Suspended License: At a traffic stop at Fourth Street and Ross Valley Drive at 10:24 a.m., an officer determined a woman was driving on a license that was suspended. Driver was cited and released and the car was towed.

Stolen/Lost: A woman reported that she secured her bike to a pole approximately six weeks ago at Sir Francis Drake Boulevard and San Anselmo Avenue and when she returned it was gone.

Noise: There were loud skateboarders at Saunders Avenue and Taylor Street at 8:14 p.m.

Noise: There was a loud party on San Rafael Avenue at 11:06 p.m.

Battery: A resident reported that her husband hit her in the face on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 11:13 p.m. Officers responded and the subject was arrested and booked at the county jail.

Noise: There was loud music coming from a business at Memorial Park at 11:17 p.m.
