San Anselmo Police: Skunk in Residence, Locks Stolen, DUI

Sunday, June 26

Juvenile Problem: A group of juveniles were playing in the construction area on Richmond Road a t 12:06 a.m.

Driving Under the Influence: An officer located a car stopped on Greenfield Avenue at 2:20 a.m. The driver was determined to be under the influence. She was arrested and booked at the county jail.

Sleeper: There was a sleeper on San Anselmo Avenue at 7 a.m.

Municipal Code Violation: A number of signs were removed.

Accident – Minor Injury: A juvenile on a bike struck a parked car on Ross Avenue at 11:06 a.m. and was taken to the hospital for evaluation.

Suspicious Circumstances: A car had a baby or life-like doll left inside it on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 1:02 p.m. The resident found out it was a doll.

Public Intoxication: A resident called requesting assistance and said she was walking to Butterfield and Woodside Drives at 2:02 p.m., because she didn’t want to be in her house. She was crying and said she had been drinking too much. She was taken into custody for public intoxication.

Municipal Code Violation: A neighbor on Tamalpais Avenue was dumping a mattress and printer on the sidewalk.

Suspicious Circumstances: A construction truck’s double doors were left open at Butterfield Road and Carlson Avenue at 11:53 p.m. and a gate nearby was left open too.

Saturday, June 25

Animal Call: A resident reported a skunk was inside his residence on Mariposa Avenue at 5:17 a.m.

Stolen Vehicle: A woman reported that her car was stolen in the area of San Anselmo Avenue.

Suspicious Person: A subject was in the bushes on San Anselmo Avenue talking to himself at 10:57 a.m.

Noise: There was loud music on Brookside Drive at 2:33 p.m.

Suspicious Person: A subject was sleeping under a cardboard box on Sais Avenue at 3:07 p.m.

Noise: Previously reported loud music on Brookside Drive was back on at 4 p.m. The responsible was contacted and served with Loud Party Notice.

Driving Under the Influence: A resident reported a possible DUI driver on Red Hill Avenue at 5:30 p.m. An officer checked and the car was gone.

Fraud: There was fraudulent activity on a resident’s credit card.

Disturbing the Peace: A man and woman were arguing on Mariposa Avenue at 7:11 p.m. Officers responded, but found nobody home.

Hit and Run: There was a hit and run collision at Yolanda Drive and Alder Avenue at 7:44 p.m.

Petty Theft: Locks were stolen of a woman’s storage locker on Red Hill Avenue at 7:45 p.m.

Disturbing the Peace: Subjects were arguing in a car at Santa Barbara and Santa Cruz Avenues at 9:47 p.m.

Barking Dog: There was a barking dog on San Rafael Avenue at 9:53 p.m.

Disturbing the Peace: Subjects were arguing in a car on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 10:21 p.m.

Friday, June 24

Noise: There was a loud party on Humboldt Avenue at 2:58 a.m.

Vandalism: An officer took a report of vandalism on Olive Avenue at 9:53 a.m.

Municipal Code Violation: There was a leaf blower in use outside permissible hours on San Anselmo Avenue at 3:24 p.m.

Barking Dog: There was a barking dog on Broadmoor Avenue at 3:34 p.m.

Noise: There was loud drumming on Ross Avenue at 3:50 p.m.

Disturbing the Peace: Two subjects were yelling at each other in a car at Broadmoor Avenue and Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 4:14 p.m.

Reckless Driving: There was a possible DUI driver on Olive Avenue at 6:17 p.m.

Juvenile Laws: A large group of juveniles congregating on Ross Avenue at 10:41 p.m.
