Wednesday, Aug. 18

Barking Dog: A dog was barking all night on Woodland Avenue. The resident was advised to call when the dog was barking again.

Fraud: An officer took a report of a fraudulent use of a checking account on Crest Road at 5:18 p.m.

Solicitor: There was a solicitor in the area of Elm Avenue at 8:55 p.m.

Noise: There was a report of a loud party at Oakland Avenue and Alderney Road at 11:23 p.m.

Tuesday, Aug. 17

Prowler: Someone was sleeping in a horse trailer in a carport on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 4:42 p.m. An officer contacted the subject in the trailer and advised him of the complaint. The trailer was parked on private property and the subject stated that the manager was aware of his presence.

Suspicious Circumstances: A resident reported that a man was peeping at them on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 8:37 a.m.

Sleeper: A subject was sleeping in their vehicle for two days at Cottage and Jordan Avenues. Officers contacted the subject who advised he was working on a construction site nearby and he takes naps during breaks.

Petty Theft: A resident's mail had been stolen and tampered with on Oak Avenue.

Burglary: Someone attempted to pry the door to a business open on Greenfield Avenue.

Disturbing the Peace: A resident was followed home to Ross Avenue at 6:28 p.m. by a man after a disagreement about whose turn it was at a stop sign. He started yelling about his driving and wouldn't leave.

Suspicious Circumstances: A group of juveniles were on the roof of a building on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 8 p.m. Four left prior to arrival of the officer and the other two were counseled by school staff.

Reckless Driving: A vehicle swerved at pedestrians on the sidewalk at Laurel and Hazel Avenues at 8:03 p.m. and accelerated own the street.

Suspicious Person: A man was sitting on the sidewalk on Forbes Avenue at 9:10 p.m. and playing a video game for over an hour.

Unwanted Subject: A resident's boyfriend was refusing to leave on Bella Vista at 10:34 p.m. She locked him out and was afraid he was going to hurt her. Officers contacted both parties and determined it was a verbal argument. They agreed to stay separated for the night, the male half was provided with transportation to the downtown.

Monday, Aug. 16

Suspicious Circumstances: There was a call from two intoxicated subjects on Butterfield Road at 1:11 p.m. The female stated that her friend wouldn't let her leave; the male said she refused to leave. Officers met with both parties and the female half was given a ride to the bus stop.

Vandalism: A resident reported graffiti to a building on Ross Avenue at 3:04 p.m.

Suspicious Circumstances: While checking Memorial Park, an officer saw two subjects run from him when they saw the officer at 8:40 p.m. ne was located and checked out. He was released with a warning and was advised about being in the park after dark.
