San Anselmo Police: Tractor, Public Intoxication Arrests, Bikes Stolen

Thursday, Sept. 15

Vehicle Complaint: A resident reported a tractor was blocking his driveway on Scenic Avenue and that his son’s car had scratches on it, possibly from the tractor.

Suspicious Circumstances: A resident reported threatening phone calls on San Anselmo Avenue.

Suspicious Circumstances: A suspicious subject appeared to be looking into cars on San Anselmo Avenue at 11:35 a.m.

Suspicious Circumstances: A man, who appeared to be intoxicated, was disturbing the peace on Greenfield Avenue at 12:14 p.m. Officers arrested him for public intoxication and violation of probation.

Public Intoxication: A resident reported an intoxicated subject on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 6:37 p.m. He was contacted and arrested for public intoxication.

Suspicious Person: A subject was acting strangely and possibly intoxicated on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 7:28 p.m. He was transported to Helen Vine.

Sleeper: A resident reported that a motor home was parked for a few days on San Anselmo Avenue and someone was sleeping inside it at 8:05 p.m. The subject said he just purchased the motor home and was testing it out.

Barking Dog: A dog was barking on Broadmoor Avenue at 8:24 p.m.

Suspicious Vehicle: A car was parked for two hours with a door open at Shadows.

Wednesday, Sept. 14

Disturbing the Peace: An aggressive subject was reported on Shaw Drive at 9:26 a.m.

Grand Theft: Two bikes were stolen on San Anselmo Avenue.

Petty Theft: A bike was stolen on Suffield Avenue.

Suspicious Person: A person at Sir Francis Drake Boulevard and Butterfield Road appeared to be intoxicated. Officers found the subject had a physical impairment only.

Suspicious Person: There was a suspicious subject on Holstein Road at 1:51 p.m.

Trespassing: A resident reported that a man came onto his property on Tamalpais Road without permission.

Suspicious Vehicle: A resident reported that her son was approached by a car who asked him to get in at Butterfield Road and Meadowcroft Drive.

Tuesday, Sept. 13

Hit and Run: An officer located a car that appeared to have been hit overnight on San Anselmo Avenue.

Vandalism: A street sign was vandalized at Sequoia Drive and Searles.

Assist Fire: A pipe burst at a residence and appeared to be flooding on Brookside Drive at 3:14 p.m.

Accident – Minor Injury: There was a minor injury collision on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 3:35 p.m.

Municipal Code Violation: Officers removed a number of signs.

Grand Theft: A laptop was stolen from an unlocked car on Savannah Avenue.

Suspicious Person: A man was wandering on Tamalpais Avenue at 11:46 p.m. and ducked out of sight when a resident drove by. He later met with a female subject. Officers responded and abated him.

Monday, Sept. 12

Barking Dog: A dog was reporting barking all night on Oak Springs Drive.

Annoying Phone Calls: A resident reported she was receiving calls from phone solicitors.

Vandalism: A sign was vandalized on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard.

Barking Dog: A dog was barking on Yolanda Drive at 8:24 p.m. An officer responded and found it quiet, but the dog started to bark when he knocked on the door.
