San Anselmo Police: Water Balloon Hits Police Car, Juveniles with Suitcase

Friday, Dec. 9

Unwanted Subject: There was an unwanted subject in a business on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 8:31 a.m.

Hazard: There was a gravel spill in the road on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 9:46 p.m.

Suspicious Person: A woman was in the street on Jones Street at 10:55 a.m.

Warrant Arrest: At a traffic stop at Greenfield Avenue and Ross Valley Drive at 12:51 p.m. was determined to have an outstanding warrant out of the county. A subject was arrested and booked into the county jail.

Accident – No Injury: A resident reported she was involved in a non-injury collision at Broadmoor Avenue and Morningside Drive at 3:28 p.m.

Fraud: A resident reported there was a fraudulent charge on her credit card.

Barking Dog: There was a dog barking at a residence on Oak Springs Drive at 5:49 p.m.

Suspicious Circumstances: Two juveniles were walking on San Francisco Boulevard at 6:09 p.m. and were possibly carrying guns. Officers made contact with the juveniles, who were carrying a suitcase.

Hit and Run: A resident’s bumper was hit and the other person failed to stop and provide information.

Barking Dog: Dogs were barking at a residence on Angela Avenue at 7:31 p.m.

Driving on a Suspended License: At a traffic stop on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 9:09 p.m., a man was determined to be driving on a suspended license. He was cited and released and the car was left parked.

Hit and Run: A car backed into another car on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard and then left without exchanging information.

Saturday, Dec. 10

Juveniles: Male juveniles were in the creek area on Karl Avenue at 12:52 p.m. The group was abated.

Missing Person: A resident reported that he four-year-old son was missing from the residence on San Francisco Boulevard at 1:26 p.m. Officers responded and locate the child sleeping in his bed.

Disturbing the Peace: A passenger was disturbing the bus driver. An officer met with the passenger, driver and supervisor and the passenger opted to not continue on the bus.

Shoplifting: A woman was inside a business on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard and shoplifted items. The items were returned to the store and officers abated the subject from the area.

Reckless Driving: There was an erratic driver at Sir Francis Drake Boulevard and Red Hill Avenue at 9:15 p.m.

Animal: A deer was hit on Red Hill Avenue at 10:26 p.m.

Sunday, Dec. 11

Disturbing the Peace: A resident reported that she could hear a fight on Sunnyhills Drive at 5:59 p.m. Officers responded and no altercation took place; children were running up and down the stairs.

Suspicious Circumstances: A resident reported someone knocked on her door on Los Angeles Boulevard at 9:27 p.m., but didn’t answer when she asked who it was.

Suspicious Circumstances: A water balloon hit a police officer’s car at Center Boulevard and Saunders Avenue at 9:58 p.m. The officer couldn’t find the responsible.

Animal: A deer was injured from a collision on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 11:21 p.m.
