San Anselmo Police: Woman Arrested for Abetting Burglary, Statuette Taken from Residence

Thursday, Feb. 9

Disturbing the Peace: An officer located and abated a verbal dispute on San Anselmo Avenue at 10:36 a.m.

Domestic Violence: An officer took a report of a possible domestic violence incident on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 12:08 p.m.

Petty Theft: A cell phone and digital camera were taken from an unlocked car on Sunnyside Avenue.

Disturbing the Peace: A woman said another woman ripped her signs down on San Anselmo Avenue, when she was expressing her right to free speech. An officer contacted both parties and the situation was abated.

Petty Theft: There was a theft from a car on San Anselmo Avenue at 5:24 p.m.

Vandalism: The bridge on Bridge Avenue was tagged.

Wednesday, Feb. 8

Reckless Driving: A male driver was speeding, passing unsafely, and ran a red light at Sir Francis Drake Boulevard and San Francisco at 8:24 a.m.

Reckless Driving: A male driver was driving slowly, ran a red light, and couldn’t maintain his lane at Butterfield Road and Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 9:26 a.m. Officers found no merit to a DUI.

Missing Person: A resident’s daughter left their house on Oak Springs Drive following an argument and had not returned.

Petty Theft: A statuette was taken from the front of a house on Nokomis Avenue.

Barking Dog: A dog was barking for an hour on Allyn Avenue at 4:26 p.m.

Barking Dog: There were dogs barking in the lower part of the park on Crescent Road at 4:52 p.m.

Petty Theft: Various items were taken from a car and yard on Sunyside Avenue of a few days.

Barking Dog: A dog was barking for an hour and a half on Suffield Avenue at 6:19 p.m. and the resident was concerned that the elderly owner might need help. Officer left a notice on the door.

Cancel Missing Person: The resident’s missing daughter called at 8:17 p.m. and he went to pick her up.

Civil Problem: A resident’s roommate was intoxicated on Cedar Street at 8:23 p.m. and kept bothering her.

Tuesday, Feb. 7

Burglary: Two bikes that were locked up were stolen from a locked garage on Tamal Vista Drive during the night.

Driving without a License: At a traffic stop at San Anselmo and Bridge Avenues at 9:45 a.m., a woman was determined to be driving without a valid license. She was cited and released on scene and the car was left legally parked.

Vandalism: A resident’s paintings were vandalized on Redwood Road.

Disturbing the Peace: A man and woman were in a verbal argument on Tunstead Avenue at 1:27 p.m.

Juveniles: A juvenile was blasting music on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 1:38 p.m.

Accident – No Injury: There was a non-injury collision on Red Hill Avenue at 3:54 p.m., but the woman was afraid to get out of her car since the other driver seemed intimidating.

Suspicious Circumstances: A man’s voice kept saying “beep, beep” on Ross Avenue at 7:33 p.m. The resident lives alone and no one should be in her apartment. Officers found the apartment clear.

Burglary: A man and woman came into a store on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 10:16 p.m. and the man stole some items and left on foot, refusing to stop at the store employees direction. Officers located the female, who was arrested and booked for burglary, conspiracy to commit a crime, and obstruction of a police officer.

 

Monday, Feb. 6

Disturbing the Peace: There was a disturbance at an apartment on Red Hill Avenue at 12:51 a.m. Officers determined there was no merit.

Suspicious Vehicle: There was a suspicious taxi cab on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 1:39 a.m.

Department of Public Works Notification: The pedestrian crossing sound is chirping at all hours of the night at San Anselmo and Ross Avenues.

Noise: An amplified guitar was being used with windows and doors open on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 11:12 a.m.

Municipal Code Violation: A leaf blower was being used at the vet office on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard.

Missing Person: A resident reported her 16-year-old daughter was missing.

Barking Dog: A dog was barking for an hour on The Alameda.

Disturbing the Peace: A resident’s roommate was intoxicated and threatening to fight people on Red Hill Avenue at 9:51 p.m. Officers met with both parties and the subject was picked up by his grandmother and taken home.

Cancel Missing Person Report: The resident located her daughter.

Suspicious Circumstances: A resident can hear people in a house on Ross Avenue and can see them turning on and off the lights at 10:24 p.m. Officers checked the interior and exterior of the house, which were clear.
