San Anselmo Police: Woman screaming at 2 a.m., merchandise stolen from store

Friday, Sept. 3

Suspicious Circumstances: There was an anonymous report of a woman screaming in the area of Woodland Avenue and Crescent Road at 2:08 a.m. It was determined it was a verbal dispute between two women.

Trespassing: Subjects were heard inside an apartment that should be vacant on Sunnyhills Drive at 10:57 p.m. Officers found nobody.

Hit and Run: A parked car on San Anselmo Avenue was hit.

Suspicious Circumstances: A man was reported attempting to drag a woman from a vehicle on San Anselmo Avenue at 5:17 p.m. Officers were unable to locate.

Sleeper: A subject was sleeping behind a business on Greenfield Avenue at 5:29 p.m.

Suspicious Circumstances: There was a group of juveniles on Park Drive smoking cigarettes and throwing bottles at 6:36 p.m. Officers abated them from the area.

Juvenile Problem: There was a group of juveniles on the hill at Memorial Park at 8:09 p.m. One juvenile was cited for being a minor in possession of alcohol.

Thursday, Sept. 2

Driving without a License: At a traffic stop on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 7:42 p.m. a man was cited and released for driving without a license. His car was impounded and towed on a 30-day hold.

Suspicious Person: A subject was camping on Ross Avenue.

Burglary: Merchandise was stolen from a business on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 12:17 a.m.

Hit and Run: There was a hit and run collision at Tunstead and Cedar Avenue at 2:13 p.m.

Public Intoxication: There was an intoxicated man walking on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 6:55 p.m. He was taken into protective custody and transported to detox.

Noise: There was a group of skateboarders on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 11:44 p.m.
