The fire was contained to the master bedroom and adjacent bathroom in 10 minutes.

The other bedroom, bath and living area sustained some smoke damage, and possessions were salvaged, he said.

No one was injured in the blaze.

The cause remains under investigation, however, it appears to have started in an area near the furnace, Gray said.

The home sustained an estimated $35,000 in damage.

Gray said no smoke detectors were found in the home.

American Red Cross is assisting the three occupants of the home with temporary housing.
