San Rafael Freeway Rollover Leaves Man Hospitalized

The collision occurred at about 4 a.m.

A motorist who drove off the U.S. 101 Freeway early this morning was hospitalized with unspecified injuries, authorities said.

The male driver, who is about 30, was driving northbound at McGinnis Parkway when he apparently lost control of his vehicle, San Rafael Fire Battalion Chief Paul Crimmins said.

“He went off the freeway just missing the guard rail and rolled down the embankment into the open parking area down below,” Crimmins said.
