Shoeless Fighter at Bar; Lost Oakland Athletics Key

Thursday, Jan. 12

Skateboarding Violation: A subject was cited for skateboarding in the downtown at Mono Lot.

Citizen Assist: A motorist parked in the Fairfax Coin Car Wash lot sometime during the night with a note saying, “out of gas, be right back.” Reported at 11:57 a.m.

Battery: A person threw a bicycle at a political demonstrator’s table on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at Claus Drive.

Traffic Complaint/Problem: A business is receiving complaints from customers that subjects are blocking the sidewalk and forcing pedestrians into the street to go around them and are also blocking the handicapped access at Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at Claus Drive.

Found Property: A green “Specialized” brand bicycle was found on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard and brought inside a business for safekeeping.

Unwanted Subject: A bar employee on Broadway reported an unwanted patron, refusing to leave. Patron put his hands on a bar employee. The subject was located at the Parkade. Bar employees did not want the subject arrested.

Disturbance: Subject was just kicked out of a bar on Broadway and is removing his shoes and looks like he’s getting ready to fight. The fighter is described as a male with a bald spot, goatee and black jacket, which he has just removed.

Assault: Subject from the earlier incident came into the Fairfax Police Department to report an assault. He left before the officer could arrive.

Wednesday, Jan. 11

Disturbance: At 1:37 p.m. a report came in of a violent juvenile on Forrest Avenue.

Abandoned Vehicle: There was an anonymous complaint of a vehicle that has been parked in the same spot for five days on Taylor Drive.

Disturbance: A woman reports being harassed by a male subject on Lansdale Ave.  She said she fell and thinks her arm is broken. Dispostion: Unfounded.

Suspicious Circumstances: A caller thinks that drug activity is going on at a residence on Pacheco Avenue. When the caller was asked why, the caller disconnected the phone.

Noise Complaint: There is an ongoing problem with a band playing too loudly on School Road. The responsible parties were advised of the complaint.

Suspicious Circumstances: A caller reports hearing yelling and the sound of fireworks in the area of Taylor Drive and Geary Avenue.

Tuesday, Jan. 10

Lost/Stolen: A man reported his brown wallet with his driver’s license and misc. cards were lost on Dominga Avenue.  He declined to file a report.

Lost/Stolen: A man lost his key with “Oakland Athletics” printed on the side on Bolinas Road at Broadway.

Trespassing: A report of smoke coming from a camp fire on the property of the reporting party, located at the top of Mitchell Lane. Owner requested an officer meet him at the address.

Monday, Jan. 9

Any Civil Problem:  A request for an officer on standby while a woman terminates employment of an employee at 6:50 a.m.

Hit and Run w/Property Damage: On Cascade Drive, a garage was hit by a vehicle sometime during the night.

Garbage Complaint: A complaint was received that there are miscellaneous items left on Olema Road with a “free” sign on the pile. The reporting party said that the items have been there for two weeks.

Animal Complaint: It was reported that a dog had been locked in a black town car in the Lower Pavilion lot on Elsic Lane.

Found Property: A black leather wallet with a driver’s license and credit cards was found at the Rino Gas station on Sir Francis Drake Blvd. No cash was in the wallet.

Town Code Violation: A caller advised that two tents are set up with an adult male seen next to them at the end of the parking lot at the Fairfax Market at approximately 4 p.m.
