Son Arrested After Altercation with Mother

Mom decides to pursue charges because she felt threatened, Fairfax police say.

A mother vs. son argument resulted in four charges against a 21-year-old Fairfax man, police said Wednesday.

An emergency call was placed Tuesday night when a 50-year-old woman said she was threatened and felt genuine fear during an altercation with her son, Fairfax police Cpl. Rhonda Richardson said. The son allegedly pulled his mother's hair as well, and the woman decided to pursue charges against him.

Cheyene Thomas Perro-Thirsh, who gave his occupation as a delivery boy, was arrested at 6:33 p.m. at an apartment on Merwin Avenue. He faces a felony charge of making threats and misdemeanors of battery, trespassing and violating probation. His bail was set at $50,000.
