San Anselmo 18-Year-Old Arrested in Mill Valley Burglary

A Reed Circle resident came home Thursday afternoon and found four men trying to burglarize her home, according to a press release from the Marin County Sheriff's Office.

According to the press release, the Mill Valley woman came home around 1:35 p.m. and found four suspects in her home. As they fled the residence, they shoved her to the ground and left their car parked in front of the house.

With help from the Tiburon Police Department, Mill Valley Police Department, Belvedere Police Department and Sausalito Police Department, the four suspects were located. One man was found under the deck of a residence on Richardson Drive. The three other subjects were located running on Greenwood Cove Road in Tiburon. 

While searching the suspect’s vehicle, deputies located stolen property from a residence that had been burglarized on Seminary Drive in Mill Valley about an hour earlier. 

The property stolen at both the Reed Circle and Seminary Drive consisted of jewelry and electronics. 

The suspects included an 18-year-old from San Francisco, an 18-year-old from San Anselmo, and 18-year-old from San Geronimo and a juvenile boy from San Francisco. They were booked on suspicion of burglary, receiving and possessing stolen property and conspiracy.
