Woman Steals Items from San Anselmo Shops

On Monday, Dec. 19, just before 7 p.m., officers responded to report of a possibly intoxicated woman on the 600 block of San Anselmo Avenue. 

The woman was also reported to have stolen items from a number of stores in the downtown San Anselmo area. 

According to officers, Joy Caligiuri, 52, of American Canyon, was located in downtown. Caligiuri was reportedly intoxicated and was in possession of items that were believed to have been stolen from a number of local stores. She was arrested and booked into the county jail for commercial burglary and public intoxication.
