Fairfax Finance Committee Meeting

The Fairfax Finance Committee meets on the second Monday of each month from 4:30pm to 5:30pm in the Conference Room of the Fairfax Town Hall. Lauren Ireland-Ashley, Fairfax's Finance Director, serves as the Committee Chair. 

The Finance Committee is a standing committee and  is responsible for reviewing and providing guidance for the Town's financial matters. Specifically, the committee assures internal controls, independent audit, and financial analysis for the organization. The Finance Committee reviews all financial statements and reports on financial activity to the Council. To help the Council fulfill its oversight function, it is important for the Town Manager and the Finance Committee to present the information in as clear and concise a manner as possible.
