Did you know in Marin there are over 1,200 single individuals and families experiencing homelessness? There are also over 4,000 households at risk of losing their housing.  The Marin Partnership to End Homelessness and the Marin County Homeless Policy Steering Committee invites you to be part of an important community discussion.

We are revising our strategic plan to Prevent and End Homelessness through a community-wide planning process.  We are inviting the community to join us and be part of building the plan to prevent and end homelessness by attending a community meerting.

Community meetings will be held throughout the county and will focus on defining the problem and the strategies Marin has implemented so far.  This is also an opportunity to learn more about how Marin intends to update its 10 Year Plan to Prevent and End Homelessness and how the community can get involved in the planning.

There are 6 Community Meetings scheduled throughout the county including:

Wednesday May 16th -West Marin, Dance Palace at 6PM

Saturday May 19th - Marguerita C. Johnson Senior Center in Marin City at 6PM

Monday May 21st - Marin County Health & Wellness Campus, Connections Center rooms 109/110 at 6PM - this meeting will be held in Spanish and translated to English

Wednesday May 23rd - Hamilton Community Center in Novato at 6PM

Thursday May 24th - San Rafael Community Center, Club Rooms 2/3 at 6PM

Is anybody else here getting multiple e-mail notifications of new comments by Jo Tog, and thenRead More clicking the link, only to find that they are actually old comments from Jo Tog, but with today's date on them? What's the deal? Did all his comments get flagged and deleted, and now he's re-posting them? Most curious.

Jo Trog, we live in a Corporatocracy, not a republic. We abdicated the Republic after 9/11, if notRead More before. Know the difference.

Banning the sale in a free market economy is too strong. I believe people should be able to chooseRead More so long as the product is labeled correctly, and even placed in a section with a big sign that says "GM Food products". Would I buy it if I pass the section at the grocery store: NO.
