Welcome Tea for Supervisor Rice

The public is invited to the on Saturday, Feb. 4 at 3 p.m. to have tea and cookies with .

A lifelong resident of Marin and Aide to Supervisor Hal Brown for the past eight years, Katie was appointed by Governor Jerry Brown to represent the 2nd District on the Marin County Board of Supervisors. She will speak about current projects and priorities, and will answer questions. 

“Fairfax Library is very happy to offer this opportunity for the public to get to know Katie,” said Margaret Miles, Fairfax Branch Librarian in a released statement. “She is committed to public service, and has a huge interest in making sure that government is receptive and responsive to the concerns of its citizens. The public library is a perfect forum for this type of democracy in action.”
