Is Hands-Free Texting While Driving Dangerous?

New legislation allows drivers to use Siri or other voice-operated text messaging. Are you on board with the new bill, or is it going to cause more distracted drivers?

 

Governor Jerry Brown has signed legislation that lets motorists text while driving, but only if it’s hands-free texting.

The Bay Citizen reported that Assembly Bill 1536 amends existing law, allowing drivers to use voice-operated text messaging, such as Siri on an iPhone.
