Katie Rice to Continue as District 2 Supervisor

Marin County supervisor received 68 percent of the vote Tuesday.

Marin County Supervisor Katie Rice was re-elected to her seat Tuesday night, earning 68 percent of the vote.

Rice's challengers were Fairfax Councilman , who received 21 percent of the vote, and College of Marin Board Trustee Eva Long, who earned 10 percent of the vote.

There were a total of 10,950 votes cast for the District 2 supervisor race. The district encompasses Ross Valley from the top of White's Hill in Fairfax to Highway 101 in Greenbrae. It includes Fairfax, Oak Manor, San Anselmo, Sleepy Hollow, Ross, Kentfield, Greenbrae, the old town areas of Larkspur and Gerstle Park, Bret Harte and Lomita Park in San Rafael.
