Election 2011: Everything You Need to Know

Where, when and on what to vote. Check back Tuesday for election results.

Voting begins at 7 a.m. tomorrow, Nov. 8, and runs until 8 p.m. While there are no national issues being decided, a number of local elections will be up for consideration.

Find your local polling place and see exactly what's on your ballot (if you didn't already recieve it in the mail), by typing in your address at marinvotes.org.

Check back on Patch after 8 p.m. for live results throughout the evening, until the races are called.

Ross Valley School District: (Pick three of five) , , and . Elizabeth Peacock has pulled out of the race, though her name appears on the ballot. Watch the video of the candidates above or click on their names to read their Q&A.

Marin Community College District: (Pick four of seven) Eva Long, Stephanie O'Brien, Peter Romanowsky, Jack Wilkinson, Joan Lisetor, James Namnath, and Philip J. Kranenburg. Watch the video of the candidates debating.

: Renewal of a ten-year parcel tax for the Tam Union High School District starting July 1, 2012 at the current rate plus an annual 3% increase ($245.94 for 2012-13). The renewal of the tax requires two-thirds approval to pass.

: A local half-cent sales tax in Fairfax to go to general town funds, expiring on March 31, 2017. Watch the video of two sides debating the issue above.
