Marin Energy Authority Hopes to Get More Competitive With PG&E on Rates
PG&E to reduce a fee charged to authority users that compensates for the utility giant's loss of customers.
The Marin Energy Authority, which now provides an energy alternative to PG&E , may see rates get more competitive this year, according to a Marin Independent Journal article.
MEA Executive Officer Dawn Weisz said PG&E will reduce a fee it has been charging authority users. The Power Charge Indifference Adjustment, which compensates for the loss of PG&E's customers to the authority, will be lessened beginning July 1.
