Marin Men Elected to Top Spots on State GOP Board of Directors

A Fairfax resident has been named the Bay Area Regional Vice Chair of the California Republican Party Board of Directors and a San Rafael man has been elected chairman of the GOP's County Treasurer's Association

 

Fairfax resident Kevin Krick, chairman of the Marin GOP, was elected last weekend as the Bay Area regional vice chair of the California Republican Party Board of Directors. 

Also elected to a leadership role in the party was San Rafael resident and Marin GOP Vice Chair Thomas Montgomery, who will serve as the chairman of the California Republican Party’s County Treasurer's Association.

The two were elected during the California Republic Party spring convention in Sacramento and will join more than 30 people who serve on the board.

Krick will represent republicans in Marin, San Francisco, San Mateo, Alameda, Contra Costa and Santa Clara counties, where there are a total of 575,000 registered republicans.

 According to a release, during his acceptance speech Krick quoted the motto of his alma mater, the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy.

"Acta non verba, deeds not words,” he said. “We need to act if we're to lead a Republican resurgence and provide California voters a real choice to once again make their state a Golden State."

Krick also recently served as first vice president for the Californian Republican County Chairmen's Association.
