Should the Marin Energy Authority include the city of Richmond?
The authority's board will vote Thursday on including the Contra Costa County city.
The Marin IJ has reported that the Marin Energy Authority is considering adding the city of Richmond to it list of customers, which currently includes every municipality in Marin County.
The MEA board will vote Thursday on admiting the Contra Costa County city, which could increse the authority's customer base by 30 percent, according to the IJ.
The authority expects its with PG&E rates this year.
