What's on the Agenda for Tonight's Council Meeting?

Council will appoint commissioners and consider Deep Green energy option.

The San Anselmo Town Council meets at 7 p.m. tonight, Tuesday, at Town Hall. On the agenda:

  • The council will approve a contract with Wayne Bush as Interim Public Works Director for 10 hours a week and a contract with STC Design and Engineering for full-time Assistant Public Works Director Sean Condry.
  • Appointments to the Quality of Life and Arts Commissions.
  • A report on the Marin Clean Energy Deep Green option for town facilities will be heard and direction will be provided about the town's energy choice -- light or deep green.
  • An extension of planning entitlements and permits for one year.
  • The council will hear a report on the town's current franchise agreements.
  • Appoint representative to the Sustainable Community Strategy Ad Hoc Committee.
  • Appoint alternative representative to the Community Development Block Grant and Home Program.
