"The most important reason for going from one place to another is to see what's in between,
and they took great pleasure in doing just that."
- Norton Juster, The Phantom Tollbooth
Yoga teaches us the art of practice and process.
The balance between having goals and living in the moment is delicate. But I have learned that if I don't slow my pace, watch for the lessons and be in the moment, I am anxious, confused or fearful.
It is only when we actually fall in love with the process, the journey, that we are truly living. The goal is just another moment and it too will pass.
We practice this in yoga, which makes it easier in life off the mat.
Still haven't really found your regular yoga practice?
