Are your kids playing sports this fall?

Don't forget the required physical and forms.

If your son or daughter is planning on playing a fall sport at Drake High School, then don't forget that they need to:

1. Get a physical by your family doctor OR attend the physical at Drake tomorrow, Aug. 14.

2. Have a 2.0 GPA and have passed at least four academic classes in the semester prior and throughout the season.

3. Return the completed athletic participation form on or before the first day of practice. (Attached at right.)

  • Boys' and Girls' Cross-Country
  • Girls' and Boys' Water Polo
  • Boys' Soccer
  • Girls' Tennis
  • Girls' Golf
  • Co-ed Cheerleading
Drake High School will be hosting their own physical check-in tomorrow, Aug. 14. Physicals will be conducted by Dr. Robert Teasdale. No appointments are necessary, but 9th and 10th graders are asked to come for their physicals from 9 a.m. - 11 a.m., and 11th and 12th graders should come for their physicals from 1 p.m. - 3 p.m.

Parents should fill out the forms and bring them in for the doctor. All physicals will cost $25 and Dr. Teasdale is donating all proceeds to Drake.
