2012 Wade Thomas Lap-A-Thon

The Wade Thomas Lapathon raises funds used by the Wade Thomas Parents Association for our annual school operational needs such as teacher supplies, technology, recreational equipment, landscaping etc. As a result of this year's state budget cuts, these needs could not be more critical to our school community.

The Lapathon is FUN and good exercise for all the kids at Wade Thomas School. Each year in the Fall, the kids come out to run or walk laps around the school yard. Break stands with water and oranges, are hosted by volunteer parents. Parents cheer the kids on, photographs are taken, and popsicles are provided to all at the finish line. Each child may win a prize depending on how much they raise.
