Comic Book Workshop

Do you want to learn how to draw your own comics? Do you want to develop your own stories, characters, and style? Then come and spend the day learning the art of creating comic books and making a comic of you very own! Recent California College of Art graduate Alex Babakitis will introduce young artists to the world of comics. Students will look at examples of different comics, explore archetypes, styles, and then progress to the task of creating a story, characters, penciling, inking, coloring and finally assembling their own book to be presented to family and friends. This is the perfect workshop for anyone who loves comics, art, superheros, and using their imagination!
