Historical Society Presentation

The San Anselmo Historical Society and Friends of Corte Madera Creek Watershed present Creeks of the Ross Valley: Historical Changes and Modern Consequences on Wednesday, March 23, 2011, 7:30 p.m. Bay Area geomorphologist Laurel Collins will give an illustrated talk and share her research on the effects of natural processes and historical human interactions on San Anselmo Creek. Learn why, how and where the creek changed its course and character in the mid to late 1800s.

This is a joint presentation of the Friends of Corte Madera Creek Watershed and the San Anselmo Historical Society

Refreshments will be served following the free program.
