Mosaic Camp - Ages 8+

We’ll take our mosaic projects a bit further than usual – creating some of our own tesserae (from clay, glass, paper and more) and developing a real appreciation for the variety of surfaces we can utilize for mosaic creations. The creative difference that our finishing techniques can contribute to our work will be explored using various grout colors and other media.  We’ll also focus on learning techniques and the importance of planning as well as the importance of stepping back and
assessing our results as we go.  This camp can be a bit messy but it will definitely be fun.  One warning, you may leave with the desire to mosaic everything in your room!
