Cascade Canyon School, the non profit K-8 small, independent, progressive school in Fairfax will host an Open House for families of prospective students on Saturday, April 23, from 10:00 AM to 12 Noon.  Children welcome.

Cascade Canyon School, founded in 1981 and situated on 22 wooded acres in the heart of Fairfax, is a small, independent school, serving students from Marin in grades K-8. Cascade Canyon enjoys the lowest student-to-teacher ratio among progressive Marin schools, and prides itself on the quality of its staff and the warmth of its community. Cascade Canyon balances a challenging academic core curriculum based on critical thinking with a strong social-emotional program and a rich specialist program in art, music, theater, Spanish, PE and environmental education.

Is anybody else here getting multiple e-mail notifications of new comments by Jo Tog, and thenRead More clicking the link, only to find that they are actually old comments from Jo Tog, but with today's date on them? What's the deal? Did all his comments get flagged and deleted, and now he's re-posting them? Most curious.

Jo Trog, we live in a Corporatocracy, not a republic. We abdicated the Republic after 9/11, if notRead More before. Know the difference.

Banning the sale in a free market economy is too strong. I believe people should be able to chooseRead More so long as the product is labeled correctly, and even placed in a section with a big sign that says "GM Food products". Would I buy it if I pass the section at the grocery store: NO.
