On the morning of Monday, Aug. 23, children from all over San Anselmo and Fairfax will shake off the summer and sharpen their pencils for the Ross Valley School District's first day of school. Three elementary schools and one middle school make up the Ross Valley School District, including Brookside Elementary School, Manor Elementary School and Wade Thomas Elementary School, all serving grades K-5 students and White Hill Middle School for grades 6-8. Children who attend these schools should check with their administration for class scheduling and bell timing.
