The Jewish American Fiction Book Club—Sponsored by Gan Halev and The Fairfax Library

For the July meeting we will be discussing Cynthia Ozick’s hauntingly beautiful novella, The Shawl.  It is available at the Marin County Free Library:  www.marinlibrary.org
Join us as we examine the American Jewish experience as portrayed in both contemporary novels and classic 20th century fiction.  Authors will range from the famous to the not so famous. We will delve into the philosophic, the emotional, the humorous, the heartbreaking, and even the bawdy side of being Jewish in America.  Everyone is welcome.  You don't have to be Jewish to love Jewish novels!
