Hundreds of people participated in YES Fest on Sunday at , which featured musical performances, drama, dance, poetry and artwork by students in the .  The festival also included galleries of painting, multi-media, and ceramic artworks created by the students in visual arts at Brookside, Manor, and Wade Thomas Elementary Schools and White Hill Middle School.

The YES Fest is sponsored by the YES Foundation and provides funding for the arts and other vibrant educational programs in the district. Programs include art, music, theater, library books, middle school clubs and after-school sports.
