It's time for us to clean house politically folks. No more corporate dictatorship and governmental policy beholden to it.


Hey, I'll do it. Let me clean house folks. No more war funding, no more nukes, no more fracking, no more badly made and non-repairable products, no more weasel words. In short, community-based and sustainably-based policy working WITH nature and natural systems. Conservation of resourses and life, rather than a race to the bottom, full of overconsumption and greed.

Let's do it. Money just doesn't mean much, compared to healthy living environments and humans that take care of each other. Just what is so hard about this? Nothin'!

Nothin' except for selfishness and ignorance.

I'll serve this planet and be president, and I bet that I would do a better job than most of the corrupt crooks currently in office. And I will need your help, support, and commitment. Really, it is up to all of us to get off our apathetic, depressed, happy, overwhelmed, passionate, wealthy, poor, ignorant, fearful, scapegoating, etc., asses, and set things to right.

Politics in general is a circus side show run by the criminally insane, and all that seems important is money and corporate profits.

LET'S fix it. Why not folks? If not, shame on all of us.

A vote for Sierra would be much less loony than for most policy we will get from the nutjobs currently running or in office. we need change folks. Real change. ARE we REALLY fine with schools begging, while our $ and the blood of our children goes into blowing folks up around the world? Lets fix it really. Remember the Declaration Of Independence? That to secure these rights, governments are instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed. That whenever any form of government becomes destructive to these ends, it is the right of the people to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their safety and happiness.

Yes, agreed, "let's fix it" mindful that there are two absolute prerequisites for making it work: and here I will shout: serious draconian LOBBY REFORM and CAMPAIGN FINANCE REFORM. Very difficult I should think... but we have to start somewhere. Elizabeth Ryde

Real change would be to abolish the U.S. federal government entirely. Keep it local - I'd imagine California would run just fine as it's own country. It's bigger and wealthier than most countries in existence now. What are we waiting for? USA no more..
