Apparently, Sprint Mobile, is opening up a cellphone and internet store in downtown Fairfax in the space recently vacated by Various & Sundries at 69 Broadway, between Fat Angel Bakery, and Fairfax Barber Shop.
Signs in the window say that the store will be open on April 20th. Reactions around town are mixed, with some welcoming the change, and hopefully better cellphone coverage, while others are concerned about the local character and small business climate, as well as concerns about the long term health effects of wireless tech.
One thing is certain, Sprint does not know what it is in for.
