Award Winning Kung Fu Master Now Offering Classes for Children, Adults and Families

Visit the Fairfax Pavillion on Mon. and Wed. for a Free Introductory Class

Fairfax, CA – The 10,000 Victories School of Kung Fu and Thai Chi, led by Sifu Scott Jensen, who last year brought home gold and silver medals from the 5th World International Martial Arts Championship in China, invites Marin Country residents, both young and old, to take part in their first class for free. And, new classes are starting right now at the Fairfax Pavilion, 142 Bolinas Road, Fairfax.

On Mondays and Wednesdays The City of Fairfax and Fairfax Open Circle Arts and Sports is working with the 10,000 Victories School of Kung Fu and Tai Chi to present a great new series of classes in Kung Fu and Qi Gong:

Kung Fu Animal PowerMonday and Wednesday, 3:45 - 4:30 PM

Kung Fu Animal Power, which is for children ages 5 – 12 (5 - 7 year olds train separately from older children), provides physical training that focuses on a different animal and corresponding leadership lesson each month. Older students also learn classical Kung Fu routines, Earth Dragon Staff and eventually sparring from 4:30 - 5:30 PM. Students earn patches that correspond to the animals, which can be added to their uniforms, as well as belts to show their progress.

Muscle Tendon Changing Qi GongMonday and Wednesday, 5:30 - 6:30 PM

Muscle Tendon Changing Qi Gong is an excellent set of Chinese Health Exercises for a person of all ages that helps build or maintain strength balance and range of motion while healing old injuries and boosting energy levels.

Fairfax Family Kung FuMonday and Wednesday, 6:30 to 7:30 PM

Share Kung Fu with your whole family! This class is designed for kids and parents to train together. The fun, one-hour class stresses strength flexibility, balance, and coordination while learning Kung Fu kicking, leaping, dodging and much more. Two or more instructors guide practices that are appropriate for all ages. And, you don’t need to be a parent - come with your spouse, your brother, niece or nephew. It’s great way to bond with your son or daughter and stay in shape. During the last part of class, older students and adults have the option learn the classical Kung Fu weapon routine Earth Dragon Staff performed with a rattan staff.

All classes are led by Master Sifu (Instructor) Scott Jensen and his staff at 10,000 Victories School of Kung Fu. For more information contact the 10,000 Victories Kung Fu School at 415-455-9467, www.10000victories.com, or FOCAS (Fairfax Open Circle Arts and Sports) at www.fairfaxfocas.com.

I went to the Smashburger in Novato & have to say that it was a disappointing experience. TheRead More burger was very mediocore & the onion rings were awful-very greasy. The staff were not friendly & operated with a "Bambi in the headlights" look about them. I do wish Smasburger luck in their locations. However, from my perspective there is a good deal of work that still needs to be done with the food, staff & service. At this time, "In & Out" Burger is a "hand's down favorite...thanks

Lisa says she doesn't yet know "how the plantings will yield. Could be six big loaves ofRead More homemade bread, could be many more, or fewer."
