Join the Ross Valley Seniors for a historical presentation by Richard Torney on Thursday, Aug 4. Learn the story of his father, Lt Col George Torney’s experience as the commander of the US Army Hospital and Chief Sanitary Officer after the 1906 San Francisco earthquake.
The meeting includes Bocce Ball and games at 11 AM with lunch at noon followed by Mr. Torney’s presentation. The meeting will be at the Fairfax Women’s Club building, 46 Park Road. Non members are welcome to attend for $7 per person, or any senior may join the RVS for only $25 per year.
