Repack Mosaic Benefit BBQ

The Fairfax Chamber of Commerce hosts a BBQ benefit, with music by Mark Twang, to raise money for a mosaic celebrating Fairfax as the birthplace of mountain biking.

The Chamber is teaming up with Quintilia Nylin, ceramic artist and creator of the History Obelisk in San Anselmo, to create a ceramic tile installation in downtown Fairfax. The application will be on the concrete planters at the foot of the Mono Lane Parking lot at Bolinas Road.

The theme of the installation is mountain biking and a remembrance of the Repack trail, the birthplace of mountain biking. Depicted will be a bike rider on Repack with hills in the distance.
