The Town of Ross will have its annual parade and picnic on the Ross Common. Picnic tables, linens, chairs and umbrellas will be provided along with music from the Goat Island Griddlepoppers. Hot dogs, polish dogs and beverages will be available for sale. Free popcorn will be provided by the Ross Property Owners' Association. Childrens games and races include relays, three-legged, wheel barrow, water sports and watermelon eating.
The parade begins at 11:00 a.m. Decorate your bike, your car, your wagon, your dog or put on a costume and join the famous Ross parade. Parade participants should register by June 15, 2011 to Cynthia Wollam at ciwollam@aol.com or by phone at 415-672-1142. Parade participants will meet at the College of Marin parking lot #15 at 10:30 a.m. sharp. Come join the fun!
