On Aug. 28th, the Ross Valley Breakers FC, San Anselmo Recreation Department and West Marin Youth Soccer League will together host the first annual soccer season kick-off parade and festival, SoccerFest 2011. The day will start at 9am with a parade in downtown San Anselmo and then continue with a 4v4 Jamboree soccer tournament, fun skills zone, jumpy houses, food and music at Memorial Park. The community event will celebrate the 1,000+ players who represent the sponsoring organizations plus Drake, SoccerKids, San Domenico School, the North Bay Wave and other local soccer programs. Proceeds will help fund soccer scholarships and general enhancements for our local select and recreational soccer programs.
