Tour de Marin - A Bike Ride to Support Opening the Alto Tunnel

Join the Marin County Bicycle Coalition on a bike ride through the scenic landscape of West Marin and support completing Marin's North/South Bicycle Greenway!

Join the and Whole Foods Market on Sunday, July 24 on a 40-mile ride through scenic Marin and then watch the final stage of the Tour de France (Champs-Élysées) in the afternoon! There will be great food all along the ride, including fine gourmet cuisine from Marin artisan cheese and bread makers. You'll ride past Big Rock, see redwood groves and horse stables, and take in a feast at the Nicasio energizer station.

All ride levels welcome, no one is left behind. The ride will be well supported, with ride leaders, sweepers and course marshals from the Marin Cyclists; and SAG (support and gear) wagon courtesy of .

Tour de Marin proceeds will help MCBC's efforts to open the Alto Tunnel to bicycles, completing Marin County's North/South Bicycle Greenway.

All riders get a Tour de Marin t-shirt, a goodie bag filled with great snacks and swag, and a supported ride complete with SAG and energizer station. After the ride stop by Pizza Orgasmica for food, beverage and the final stage of the Tour de France on the big screen!
