One of the ongoing projects of our American Legion Auxiliary unit is the making of cooling scarves for the troops. We work on this throughout the winter months so that we have a nice stockpile built up in time for the hot months. We will meet at the Log Cabin for a sewing party, from 1 to 4 pm, and you are cordially invited to attend. No sewing skills are required, as there are several non-sewing steps to the process. These parties are always lots of fun...social time, a few snacks, maybe a glass of wine...and at the same time we're doing something to help our heroes.
