Thursday

Lunch Break Hike: Santa Margarita Island

When: 12:15 p.m.

Where: Santa Margarita Island Preserve (63 Meadow Drive, San Rafael)

Bring your walking shoes to work with you. Join us for a quick 3/4 mile hike around the 4.5 acre Santa Margarita Island Preserve in San Rafael. Expect to see waterfowl, shorebirds, boats, and more. I had the pleasure of witnessing a Stingray here a couple years ago so I recommend bringing a camera! This hike should take 20 minutes to complete, or 40 minutes for those who want to complete the loop twice.

Where:  San Francisco Theological Seminary (105 Seminary Rd., San Anselmo)

The Lessons & Carols service offers an evening of singing and worship in Advent preparation for Christmas. This year marks the 39th anniversary for this community-wide event at San Francisco Theological Seminary. The event will take place in Stewart Chapel and will be a celebration of hope and anticipation for the coming of Christ.
