The Dig Home Consignment has a 3,000-square-foot loaded with furniture and other home goods ready for sale at reduced prices. The sale will be held Friday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Saturday
Halloween Carnival and Costume Parade
When: 9 a.m.
Where: Larkspur Landing Circle (2257 Larkspur Landing Circle, Larkspur)
Dress up your children and bring them to the big farmers’ market tent. A Kids Costume Parade will be held from 10:30 to 11 a.m. and a Costume Pup Parade for pets is scheduled for 11 to 11:30 a.m. The Farmers’ Market will also feature face painting, pony rides, kid’s music by Christopher Smith, and kids’ Halloween crafts.
San Rafael Medical Center Participating in FDA Drug Take Back Day
When: 10 a.m.
Where: Kaiser Permanente San Rafael Medical Center
Trick or Treat on Fourth Street
When: 1 p.m.
Where: Downtown San Rafael
Fourth Street merchants from
Heatherton through the West End Village will hand out treats to all
children in costume from 1 to 2:30 p.m.
The Downtown Business Improvement District (BID) will
hand out recyclable treat bags in the City Plaza and in front of Rebound Bookstore in the West End Village.
Also, Woodlands Pet Food and Treats (902 Third Street) will host a pet costume contest from 3 to 5 p.m. with proceeds benefiting animal rescue organizations, including the Milo Foundation, Marin Friends
of Ferals, and North Star Rescue.
Sunday
When: 11:30 a.m.
Where: The corner of Elsie Lane and Bolinas Road in Fairfax.
The Town of Fairfax Open Space Committee (FOSC) will hold a benefit TREASURE at noon. Participants are encouraged to be at the starting point by 11:30 a.m. for check-in, instructions and tips.
A sliding scale fee of $20 to $50 is requested as a donation to the Fairfax Open Space Committee for each team or individual working to solve Fairfax-themed clues to answer riddles. Prizes will be awarded to the fastest teams and individuals to answer all the riddles correctly.
Advance registration is recommended but not required.
