I am the owner referred to in this comment. Here is what happened: The occasion was Halloween night,Read More after dark, and I was closing the store. I was carrying the week's receipts with me in a bank bag (a large amount of cash). As I exited the store and after I had closed the door and was locking it, I lit a cigarette. I was startled by an angry shout behind me. I turned and saw two people rushing toward me out of the dark, costumed head to foot as cavemen, with faces blacked, wearing fright wigs and brandishing substantial wooden staffs about 6 feet long. I felt in danger of imminent attack (mindful of the cash I was carrying) by potential muggers whose identities were completely disguised. I shouted "Get back!" in the sharpest tone I could muster, and I ran across the street and down the block to get away from them. I did not make "aggressive moves" or use any obscenities. I was deeply frightened and simply wanted to save myself and guard our hard-earned money. This commenter called our store on the following day and ranted at one of my employees, alleging all kinds of "abusive" behavior on my part and frightening her so much that she was shaking as she told me about it. Of course, the caller did not leave her name or number so that I could return the call and perhaps resolve the situation. Instead, she resorted to posting this public "review" that in no way reflects the facts of the incident. I hope that others who read this will not get a false impression of me or of our business. We really are friendly, honest people who want to do well by doing good.
