Environmental Education Council of Marin

The Environmental Education Council of Marin runs a number of programs to raise environmental and nature awareness. The organization administers mini-grant programs for school gardens and for small field trips for students. In addition, the organization provides skills classes at the College of Marin and free training classes. Though adult environmental education is important, the focus is on acquainting kids with nature and offering access to the environment that they wouldn't get otherwise.
