Camp Tamarancho offers lots of single-track trails for mountain biking and hiking. The scenery for the loop is quiteMore varied: there are dense trees, mountain streams, open spaces and huge boulders. Family passes are available for $40, while individual passes are $25 and a 1-day pass is just $5. Keep in mind that the cliff-side road that leads to Camp Tamarancho can be tricky to navigate. It is rocky, twisting and unpaved  -- make sure you have a sturdy vehicle that is capable of making the trip. 
San Domenico School

Founded in 1850, San Domenico is a private school located on 500 acres at the end of Butterfield Road, in SleepyMore Hollow. The school, founded by Catholic sisters, includes a co-ed preschool through 8th grade day-school program and a girls' boarding high school program. The campus, surrounded by lush hills and open space, is known particularly for its Music-Virtuoso Program and Riding School. International students come to attend the music program.</p> <p>Tuition ranges from $9,975 for the half-day preschool program to $42,800 for the high school boarding program. Some financial assistance is provided, which students can apply for. There is an extensive application process and students can visit the campus before applying.</p> <p>In addition to the schools' programs, the campus is also used for summer camps, horse riding classes at the riding school, and a number of community events. In 2008, the school unveiled an extensive solar system to help power the campus' energy use.</p>

Terra Linda-Sleepy Hollow Divide Northern Preserve

Linda-Sleepy Holly Divide Northern Preserve is part of an open space preserve that consists of 1,168 acres ofMore rolling hills, trees, plants and wildlife. A multiuse pathway called Mission Pass Path is located on the 300 block of Fawn Drive in a residential area. This wide, paved fire road is often used for hiking, biking, running and dog walking. The path winds through coast live oak, California bay, toyon, young valley oak, coyote brush and buckeye. There are no drinking fountains, park benches, picnic tables, grills or other amenities, so bring what you need. Dogs are permitted on leash on trails and off leash under voice command on fire roads.
